In November we honor those who are transgender, nonbinary, gender expansive or otherwise unique in their gender during a somber vigil. On Transgender Day of Visibility in the spring we celebrate our resilience as a people and practice transgender joy in who we are, who we love, and the community we are part of. It is a day of celebration, of honoring ourselves, and community care. It is a day in which we declare “I am worthy”
This year the Unitarian Universalist Church of the Brazos Valley has partnered with us to celebrate TDOV a day early on March 30th from 6-8pm at their facilities.
This is a potluck, so please signup below to bring a potluck item so we can get an idea of what kind of different foods we have. But, most of all, show up. Bring your family, celebrate, and have fun in community with us.
