Gender Affirming Support Group

Second Monday each month at 6:30 p.m. at Friends Congregational Church
Everyone has a gender. For some in our community, the way that we embody gender exposes us to stigma and prejudice. This group, while designed for transgender, gender non-conforming, and nonbinary persons, is really a space for anyone. It is a space where we discuss strategies and help experientially each other with the stuff that we go through every day because of who we are regarding gender.
All ages are welcome, children should be accompanied by an adult who will take responsibility for them.
Sexuality Affirming Support Group

Second Monday each month at 6:30 p.m. at Unitarian Universalist Church of the Brazos Valley
Pride Community Center, Inc. has partnered with the Unitarian Universalist Church of the Brazos Valley to provide a safe space for peers to meet, support, advise, and offer encouragement to each other on living as gay, lesbian, bisexual + in the Brazos Valley.
This is a safe space, be assured of no religiousity or proselytizing by the church. In fact, Unitarians subscribe to agreed-upon tenets rather than a specified Godhead. This safe space is offered from a place of support and care for the LGBTQ+ community of the Brazos Valley.
