Palentine’s Day Social

Let’s admit it, right now the world is a bit tense and we are all concerned what happens with our LGBTQIA+ community. Specifically our community of youth.

Now, more than ever, is a time for community togetherness and empowerment of one another.

Pride Community Center of the Brazos Valley invites queer youth in 7th through 12th grades to a non-romantic, non-relationship break from all that tension. Join us for a friendly get together on February 16th from 5-7pm at Friends Congregational Church, UCC for some performative storytelling (family friendly) by a local drag artist, snacks, and words of encouragement.

Pride Community Center of the Brazos Valley will provide some snacks. Attendees are encouraged to bring some of their favorite snacks to share with others in true community bonding fashion.

Allies are welcome

Children younger than 7th grade must be accompanied by an adult

Pride Community Center of the Brazos Valley’s mission is to build community, provide support, and raise awareness for LGBTQIA+ community, individuals, and families in the Brazos Valley. In today’s times positive encouragement of youth in living their fullest selves possible is vital to that end.
