“High Tide” at the Queen

Our friends over at the Queen’s Film Society have a film they want to tell the community about.

The Queen’s Film Society has a film of interest to our members coming up on Jan. 14th at 7PM at the Queen Theater in downtown Bryan. It’s HIGH TIDE, a late 2024 release that received an astonishing 100% positive reviews from critics as catalogued on the Rotten Tomatoes website: https://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/high_tide_2024

It tells the story of a heartbroken, undocumented Brazilian immigrant Lourenço (Marco Pigossi), who searches for purpose in the queer mecca of Provincetown in the off season. James Bland (Giants), Mya Taylor (Tangerine), Bill Irwin (Intersteller), and Oscar winner Marisa Tomei (My Cousin Vinny) co-star. Remember, the Queen Theatre only has 52 (big, comfortable) seats, so the screening could sell out in advance. To reserve tickets, click here: https://thequeensfilmsociety.org/
